Tracker Tom's Digital Disptach
Following the Money Trail:There seems to be new hobby of late, and it is growing quickly in popularity. The hobby is that of tracking the location of currency, currency that was once located in one's hand, pocket, or purse. There are now two Web sites dedicated to such a pursuit:
www.MyDollarBill.com and
www.wheresgeorge.comHmmm, I'm wondering when we will start seeing Web site links on currency, a unique form of promoting a Web site maybe?
Let the Web speak! If you'd be interested in having a computer generated voice read out loud to you, the results of your searches through
Google, just hop on over to
Speegle. I'm not exactly sure why I would need this type of service, but I can certainly see the potential for visually impaired folks. You should check out the site anyway.
Google News Web Site Enhancement:If you aren't a fan yet of the
Google News Web site, you will be. The folks at Google have just added the ability to customize the news page to the viewer's liking. If you access the news site from the same computer on a regular basis, you'll not have to reconfigure the arrangement of news categories and such. There is even an option to add sections based on keywords that you enter - for example, I typed in "Internet" and now whenever a new story breaks that concerns the Internet, it will be posted in my customized category on my very own personalized page.
Now, isn't that special?
New Google Feature:The folks at
Google have added a new weather service feature to their search engine. Within quotation marks just type in the words weather and then the name of a city or a zip code. For example:
"
weather 32580"
The results will be a nice little page of weather information.
"Ain't" the folks at Google nice?
